The Argos 1000 is one of FarSounder's Argos series of Forward-Looking-Sonar (FLS) systems for surface ship navigation and obstacle avoidance using real-time 3D imagery technology to provide navigators with info for safe navigation. These systems are the only product on the market capable of generating a true, 3 dimensional image ahead of a vessel in real-time. The system provides a 60° field-of-view depth map up to 1000m ahead or a 90° field-of-view depth map up to 500m ahead or a 120° field-of-view up to 200m ahead with a single ping at speeds up to 25 knots.
