Lambda Marine supplies NDB to major UAE offshore operator and coordinates installation in the EU

Lambda Marine recently supplied another Telesupply JTM-30C Non-Directional-Beacon (NDB) to a major offshore operator based in the UAE. The JTM-30C is an advanced helicopter beacon, installed on vessels and platforms the world over. It assists in guiding approaching helicopters safely from distances of up to 50-100NM to the vessel/platform. NDB transmit range is depending on beacon version and installation parameters, as well as helicopter altitude. Through its optional secure Ethernet port, the beacon is accessible 24/7 for remote maintenance. For this project the UAE based ship owner required shipment to and installation of the beacon in Europe, which Lambda Marine coordinated using its network of associates in Spain, the UK and Norway.
