NAV-TRACKER is a self contained, "install-and-forget" Inmarsat Satellite based GPS tracking system. This system, consisting of an integrated Inmarsat/GPS antenna with 60ft antenna cable, receives its position reports from GPS Satellites, then relays this information over the Inmarsat Satellite Network to ground stations and to shore-based servers. The information is then available to the ship owner on any computer with an internet connection or as a daily email or SMS text message to a cell phone. When the system is armed/disarmed, goes into alarm or the Geo fence is breached, the system will automatically send up to 10 email and/or text message recipients a message notifying of the events on the vessel. The NAV-TRACKER can be tracked and controlled remotely by the user/vessel owner from a 3rd generation tracker website. This allows owners to keep track of their vessels from anywhere in the world.

- Uses the well proven extremely reliable Inmarsat M2M global service with over 100,000 of these units deployed worldwide for total peace of mind.
- The system will send multiple daily position reports at intervals selected by the user and dependent on its subscription selected and update users at anytime, using a website and/or email/SMS.
- Position report intervals can be selected from minimum once a day to a maximum of every 5 minutes, configurable by the user over the internet. depending on subscription.
- Geo-fence functionality when armed sets a geo-fence (radius) around the vessel to the specifications set by the owner (500 meters to 8 km).
- If the vessel moves outside the geo-fence the NAVTRACKER will send up to 10 email or text message recipients a message notifying recipients of the geo-fence breach and provide the vessel’s exact latitude, longitude, speed and heading
- Will continue to send these reports every 2 to 30 minutes (user preference, can be set via a website and changed when in breach), until the vessel returns to its original geo-fence area or is disarmed (locally or on the website).
- NAV-TRACKER can transmit through a 1/2 inch of solid fiberglass. This allows the NAV-TRACKER to be installed covertly hidden on-board and not alert thieves or pirates to its presence.
- Created at the request of insurance companies as a low cost GPS tracking system for their customers. Many insurance companies offer discounts for customers who install ANY NAV-TRACKER system on their vessel.
- NAV-TRACKER 1.0 access is entirely internet based. Arming and disarming the system is controlled from the website only.
- The Nav-Tracker 1.0 also has an optionally available panic/SOS button that can be used to notify recipients of any trouble. This feature is very useful for distress emergencies, pirate attack notifications, grounding/towing/oil spill alerts etc. etc.
